Blue Moon Dogs is located in beautiful rural Big Cabin, Oklahoma. We raise our dogs on our 120 acre farm isolated from neighbors and outside dogs. We sell to the general public, but we are fortunate that we have built working relationships with some of the best marketers in the pet industry to ensure that all of our puppies are able to locate loving homes and build family bonds for life!
The dogs are cared for by not only myself (Donald), but also my family and our kennel manager, Tate Wallis. All the dogs receive daily attention to help make sure they are healthy, happy, and well socialized.
Blue Moon purchased its' first set of breeding dogs in the fall of 1997 and sold its' first litter of pups in the spring of 1998. It began as only a hobby, with one male Siberian Husky and one female Siberian Husky, which has now grown into a 40 dog breeding operation-specializing in Siberian Huskies, French Bulldogs and Miniature Dachshunds.
We have been licensed with USDA since November 2000 and with the State of Oklahoma since July 2011. We are listed on the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture website under breeders (www.ag.ok.gov). With this title goes the responsibility to make sure we live up to the standards set by the USDA for the production of canines. We are regularly inspected by not only the USDA but also our Kennel Veterinarian is on site regularly throughout the year to check our vaccination, exercise, feeding and overall production program. In addition we have been regularly inspected by the American Kennel Club (www.AKC.org) and have met all of their standards for commercial canine production. We take great pride in our dogs and believe that as long as we take care of them they will provide for themselves!
